Largest and probably most exciting transporation project in Africa to date.
The Gautrain project is a multi billion development which represents one of the most exciting Private Partnership projects worldwide. Exposure to this project presents a unique opportunity and challenge to practitioners within all the disciplines.
The Gautrain Rapid Rail Link is a state-of-the-art rapid rail network planned in Gauteng. The rail connection comprises of two links, namely a link between Tshwane (Pretoria) and Johannesburg and a link between OR Tambo International Airport and Sandton. Apart from the three anchor stations on these two links, seven other stations will be linked by approximately 80 kilometres of rail.
Quantity Surveyor (subcontracts) - Working in the procurement department. 6+ year expereinece. Involved in the selection of subcontractors and tendering process. Excellent English. FIDIC type contracts an advantage.
