Our client is one of the oldest and most established LNG plants worldwide.
Contract Period : 17 Months
Commencement Period : Mar 08- July 09

Job Purpose
To fully implement assigned major projects in the most efficient manner, ensuring commercial, integrity and reliability requirements are met for both the short and long-term, ensuring continuation of existing reliable operational capabilities until 2033 in line with Client’s Business Plans.
Principal Accountabilities:
Ensure that the deliverables for the assigned projects are delivered in accordance with agreed budgets and schedule, whilst implemented in line with all Company standards, HSEQ requirements and business principles, reporting progress monthly to own Line Management.
Management of front-end development, detailed design, procurement and construction activities related to the assigned projects in accordance with BLNG procedures and industry best practices, ensuring cost control and integrity standards are maintained.
Involvement in all health, safety, environment and sustainability issues related to assigned project implementation activities, ensuring correct levels of focus
Manage all contractors involved in the development and implementation of the project work scope, ensuring all targets are achieved or exceeded.
Ensure effective communications with stakeholders involved in assigned projects to provide clarity, share information and eliminate confusion.
Responsible for establishing and communicating project execution strategies, and ensuring the delivery of design packages and contract scope required for the effective execution of projects, whilst adhering to integrity and reliability standards.
Supervise design and construction contracts related to assigned projects, conforming to appropriate standards and business principles.
Authorities
Financial, contractual and HR related authorities are as mandated in the Client’s Manual of Authorities.
Monitor and adjust priorities for contractors , approve invoices, and verify Quality and HSE practices
Management of change authorities for activities related to projects in accordance with BLNG procedure, ensuring cost control and integrity standards are maintained.
Active involvement in all health, safety, environment and sustainability issues related to project implementation activities, closing actions within set timeframes and ensuring correct levels of focus for all assigned activities.
Hold progress meetings with contractor management, verifying information submitted, identifying areas of concern regarding performance and suggesting and approving proposals for mitigating actions.
Hold internal meetings and presentations pertaining to assigned projects.
Initiate incident reports (HSE, Quality, and Equipment Failures) and close out individual actions.

| Habilidades: |
Qualifications Requirements:
• BSc, HTS or equivalent in Engineering, or equivalent proven experience
• 15+ years experience as a project professional
Preferred:
• Able to communicate in English, both verbally as well as in writing.
• Past experience in Oil Industry projects
Competence Requirements:
• With at least 15 years working experience in Oil & Gas industry covering project management, design engineering, construction, or maintenance activities in a process plant. Able to communicate in English, both verbally as well as in writing. Experience in managing projects in the order of USD 67 million. |
