Our client is one of the biggest construction companies in the Middle East. Employing over 40 000 people, the company is one of the leading businesses in the region. Their projects include chemical and power plants, oil and gas facilities as well as housing and commercial buildings.
Due to the new project opening in the vicinity of Oran in Algeria, the company has requested us to recruit candidates for different positions with experience in heavy industry/power plant civil projects.
Requirements:
Develop organization chart and assemble the project's team
Plan and manage the mobilization and demobilization of the project.
Direct preparation and updating of the project budget
Manage all contracts with the client, subcontractors, vendors and consultants
Monitor all admin and fiscal related issues such as; personnel & project insurance and sales tax
Maintain project cost control by directing and monitoring all billings, payables, cash flow and budget control activities
Responsible for collecting receivables from the client.
Manage claims, Schedule performance, delays Scope changes and changed conditions
Responsible for all correspondences with the client
Implement company policy and procedures in managing the project's activities
Ensure Proper allocation and safekeeping of all company assets in the project
Manage procurement , logistics and subcontracting
Conduct periodic meetings with the client to ensure favorable climate for business.
Ensure projects' quality and safety measures are implemented
Provide staff with the needed training and incentives to ensure their motivation
Adhere to submit regular project reports for management and client and report the management with major issues concerning the project.
Responsible for selecting potential employees and reporting them to the management
Conduct regular site walkthroughs with the construction manager to monitor the construction performance with regards to schedule, safety, costs, quality and conformance with the project contract.
Supervise project's closeout including all the documentations. |
