Job Summary:
Position calls for a hands-on, detail-oriented, creative, sales-oriented marketing professional who thrives in a busy small-company environment. This is a newly created U.S. Position, so we need enthusiasm and experience to start this brand new marketing campaign off to a great start! Company is a well-known International Japanese Brand Name experiencing rapid expansion in the U.S. Market.
Responsibilites:
• The Marketing Manager will develop and assist the sales department to achieve sales objectives by developing fiscally sound marketing plans. He/she will develop a high
Quality and cost effective marketing strategy and execute with the available resources within specified budgets and timelines, with a view to attain the volume and market share. He/she will research data to market this product effectively.
• The Marketing Manager will conduct the new marketing plan properly, as scheduled. He/she will develop marketing budgets, distributor incentive programs, and marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and increase sales in the Supermarket, Foodservice and Ethnic markets. The Manager will present marketing programs and resolve account issues to maximize the sales opportunities. Responsibilities may also entail being a liaison with distributors/ brokers to organize and execute in-store activity for all key accounts. Also, responsible for the review and analysis of brands, and attending supplier reviews.
• The Marketing Manger will be involved in the development and arrangement of all media campaigns. These will include: all advertising media (TV, Radio, Papers, Magazines, etc.) and Indoor Showcases (Refrigerated Coolers). The Manager will negotiate and plan marketing strategies with Media Agents and will be in charge of direct contact for the directory of channels. He/she will be in charge of planning and arranging all product food shows or events, and will work with other departments as necessary.
Qualifications:
• BA Marketing, Business Administration or related area
• 3-5 years of Sales & Marketing experience in Consumer Packaged Goods, preferably within the Food and Beverage industry; at least 5 years of which should have been in a management level position.
• Hands on experience in Operational Marketing a strong plus
• MANDATORY experience in the development and arrangement for all media campaigns.
• Excellent Communication, Interpersonal, Analytical, Negotiation & Presentation skills
• Willingness for occasional travel
