Business Analyst II gathers, documents, and most importantly, analyzes application requirements, conducts application analysis, participates in functional application design, creates and analyzes ad-hoc reports and aids in the escalation/resolution of project risks and issues. The candidate may be required to participate in the development of new products and services and lead process design activities.
MS SQL Server 2000 (T-SQL & PL/SQL) experience, college degree and/or relevant experience, totaling 7 years post high school and experience with reporting, data mining. The successful candidate must have proven teamwork and communication skills with an ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, experience with reporting and background knowledge of Finance. Extensive background using Microsoft Office products and programming in T-SQL/PL-SQL is required. Experience with VB/VBA, ASP, ASP.NET. Experience with IIS web servers.
Strong experience with SQL Server 2000/2005 administration, DTS Packages and Jobs, data mining and manipulation techniques, writing Stored Procedures, triggers, seed & schema scripts. Experience with server hardware setup & maintenance and application instillation & maintenance.
Preferred skills include:
Experience with our financial platforms - P2K, Ensemble, People Soft, ERR, ARCS and an understanding of how to mine data from them.
