Dear Au Pair
We are looking for someone who loves the countryside, horses and dogs and of course children! We have a baby girl aged 13 months and are due a baby boy in April. We have one horse, two ponies and two dogs. We live in a large house in Yorkshire. It is 15 minutes from York, 40 minutes from Leeds. There is a good bus service from our village to the local cities and the train from York to London takes two hours.
You will have your own room with TV & DVD & Hi-Fi. You would have the use of one of the cars and use of the internet. It would be great if you are able to ride horses. You will live as part of the family. Time off is flexible. Normally, you would only need to babysit one night per week. Basic English is good but we speak good Spanish. We would want you to speak only Spanish to the children. We can organise English classes for you if you would like.
We would expect the au pair to love playing and learning with Tabitha and to give her lots of love and cuddles. We both smoke, so we do not mind au pairs who smoke but never when with the children. We would also expect the au pair to go on holiday with us, which is usually for 3 or 4 weeks in Spain.
We need someone who is happy to give a helping hand with duties in the house, cleaning, washing and tidying! If you can cook that would be fabulous.
Tabitha is a very sweet and happy little girl who is fun to look after.
We would like someone who wants to join our family for one or two years, you should be kind, enthusiastic about children, be from a big family or have relevant childcare experience.
