The Opportunity:
Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks a professional, innovative and detailed individual for our Regional Marketing and Sales Manager position located in Germany. If you are looking for an opportunity to develop new markets and expand existing markets in the European continent while utilizing your experience in technical sales and marketing to interface with customers, then this may be the position for you!
SEL is a global manufacturer that provides products and services for the protection, control, automation, integration, communications and metering of electric power systems and have an immediate need requirement for a Regional Marketing and Sales Manager to be based in Germany.
You must be eligible to live and work in the Germany. If you have a minimum of five to seven years technical sales management experience with industrial users, bilingual in Dutch/English and German a plus, please submit your Engliish CV to: selinc.com/careers.
Regional Marketing and Sales Manager
Responsibilities:
*Plan and coordinate regional sales operations to meet established goals, develop new markets and expand existing ones.
*Build and train an effective network of sales representatives; maintain regular contact with sales representatives and customers.
*Oversee operation of Technical Service Centers in the region.
*Develop five year sales plan and strategies in concert with Vice *President of M&CS, and Vice President of International Sales; update annually with specific goals and strategies for the coming year.
*Develop and implement four quarter sales forecasts each quarter and monitor progress toward goals.
*Collect and compile regional sales data and customer information, needs and ideas. Communicate market/customer needs to the Director of International Sales.
*Direct customer service operations within the region.
*Follow and improve marketing and sales area processes.
Qualifications:
*B.S. in Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Chemical and sales experience
*Minimum of five to seven years of sales experience with industrial users, with channel contacts and channel management experience.
*Excellent technical training, leadership and communication skills
*Willing to travel 50%
*Bilingual in Dutch and English
*Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
*Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
*Ability to speak German, French or Russian |
