The Human Resources Manager role within the Compensation & Benefits department comprises of the day-to-day remuneration processes, providing guidance to the business and to colleagues. Supporting the Director in developing and maintaining competitive remuneration structures in line with business strategies for our client would form a large part of the role.
Main Duties would include:
Providing information and guidance to HR departments, managers and colleagues on remuneration matters
Supporting specific remuneration projects (such as the implementation of a job evaluation system or redevelopment of benefits structures) either as a team member of project leader
Managing the day-to-day administration of benefits programs (e.g. Savings & Retirement Plan) and incentive plans, maintaining effective relationships with internal and external service providers
Sourcing and analyzing remuneration benchmarking information to recommend adjustments to salary and benefits levels, taking into consideration the financial impact of proposed changes
Carrying out ad hoc reviews of base pay levels or grading for specific positions or departments as required
Supporting internal expansion by researching and making recommendations on appropriate remuneration structures and local benefits plans for new locations
Working with regional directors and external advisors to establish employment arrangements in new locations, complying with legislation and regulatory requirements which could include contractual, immigration, tax, social security and payroll arrangements
Managing the annual salary review process across the business making sure guidelines are applied fairly and consistently. Working with key stakeholders to ensure the review is processed and communicated on time is a key part of this task
Developing effective communication and feedback tools to increase colleague awareness and appreciation of the companies total remuneration packages

We are looking for a Remuneration specialist who possesses the following essential criteria:
Able to influence key stakeholders and communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels and from diverse backgrounds
Able to understand complex information and data and summarize it in a way others understand
Pro-active and self managing but able to work effectively as apart of a team
Experience & Education
A Degree Holder, Professional HR qualification (e.g. Chartered Institute of Personnel Development or equivalent) is preferred.
Remuneration experience is essential, either in a specialist role or as a generalist with responsibility for remuneration.
Previous experience working with job evaluation system, multicultural environment and customer service industry is highly desirable.
Thorough understanding of remuneration components and theories, and how they integrate with other HR areas are key.
Similarly analyses of date to make valid recommendations for improvement – which means numerate, with advanced excel skills, great attention to detail and fluency in written and spoken English are equally important in this role.
