Site Manager

Reporting to the project manager within this rapidly growing piping systems design & installation business your role will include the following duties:
• Provide frontline management to oversee, coordinate and implement project activities at a specific site
• Communicate regularly with clients to maintain high levels of clarity as to the status of all activities on Site
• Provide technical advice to the installation team as required
• Manage labour resources required for operations
• Comply with all Occupational Health and Safety regulations, and provide required training for the Installation team
• Develop and ensure Asset register and Equipment maintenance program is in place
• Provide contract cost management and Job costing support for Head office
• Management of sub contractors
• Ensure timely and accurate site administration is maintained
• Ensure tracking of all materials and requisitions on and off site are recorded and fed back to Head office
• Actively promote the services to existing and potential customers to generate addition and or new works orders
• Provide input to Tendering process as required, including support required for site based quotes
• Regular progress reports supplied to Head office
• Maintain work Schedules and rosters
To be successful in this role you will need to possess the following attributes:
• Demonstrated leadership and work team coordination.
• Demonstrated inter-personnel skills including client liaison
• Must be able to self mange and perform duties under stressful conditions
• Minimum 3 years on site projects experience
• Minimum 3 years industry experience preferred or equivalent
• Preferred Trade Qualifications or equivalent
• Demonstrated Management and Leadership qualities
• Preferred OHS accreditation or similar experience to meet Site safety requirements
Skills Required:
Excellent communication, interpersonal and self management skills, the ability to work independently and under pressure.
Be able to read drawings, understand complex geometrics and interpret detailed documentation.
