The RPS Group is an international consultancy providing advice on the health and safety of people, the development of natural resources, land and property and the management of the environment. We have over 4000 employees working out of 90 offices worldwide (including 60 offices in the UK and 13 in Ireland). The Health, Safety and Environment business area of the RPS Group (of which the Towcester office is a part) is an established risk management consultancy, providing advice and support services to a wide range of private and public sector clients.
We are recruiting a Business Development Professional to be based in our Towcester office and with opportunities to work in Poland and eastern Europe. You will support our growth plans in Poland and provide sales support in the UK and will therefore split your time between working in Poland and the UK. You will have a major role in identifying and developing business opportunities in Poland, in particular air emissions monitoring, occupational hygiene and laboratory services. You will also assist with developing business opportunities for these services in the UK, including renewal of accounts and sales visits. This new post forms part of our established business development team in our Towcester office and is an exciting opportunity to develop a career in sales in both countries. You should have a thorough understanding of the technical issues involved, ideally gained in a consultancy environment, backed up with a degree in environmental or earth sciences from a British or Polish university. You should speak fluent Polish and English, have a thorough understanding of the area and be willing to travel extensively in Poland and possibly other eastern European countries.
