In collaboration with the procurement team, is directly responsible for establishing, contributing to and continually improving an efficient and cost-effective process of procurement of goods and services. As a contributing member of the team, is committed to the common purpose, performance goals and approach for which team members hold themselves mutually accountable. Performance evaluation is based on a combination of team success and individual accomplishment
Evaluates suppliers and negotiates contracts based on should costs and supplier relationships.
Develops negotiating strategy with input from internal customers.
Directly accountable for the successful implementation and execution of the sourcing strategies and the subsequent delivery of significant savings to the company.
Documents cost savings.
Defines Supplier Management strategies for suppliers within category. Develops and manages advanced supplier relationships to achieve Operational Excellence and improved Total Cost of Ownership.
Works with customers and stakeholders to define key performance metrics and measures supplier performance.
