Our client is searching for an Underwriting Support Assistant to join the existing team in Gibraltar and gain an excellent grounding in the insurance industry. This is an excellent chance to get started in the insurance field and will certainly lead to progression and career advancement for the right individual. In, and out house training with be provided in both the Gibraltar and London offices to give continual learning.
You will be required to maintain a diary for the team of underwriters including conversing with new and existing brokers to ensure claims are updated and forms are completed. You will complete broker searches online and review relevant archived files. You will log new enquiries on the database and complete periodic reviews of new enquiry files to ensure they are up to date. You will also provide general support to the claims department or reception team as required.
You will be a highly professional and conscientious candidate with previous office based experience and a solid educational background. You will possess the determination and drive to succeed in a company with exceptionally high standards and live locally. You will have an excellent level of PC skills and be highly numerate.
Salary is £15k – 16k approx.
