Job Summary:
The purpose of this position is to provide training and development to employees. To enhance employee effectiveness and productivity and to increase employee readiness for next level job responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
The Manager, Training and Development is responsible for the development, delivery and facilitation of training programs; including designing, planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating program effectiveness as well as conducting needs assessments. S/he will manage multiple vendors and project manage the delivery of training programs for various audiences within the organization. The Manager, Training and Development coordinates with the HR Generalists and business managers, and actively participates in OD training initiatives.
Education/Experience Requirements:
Undergraduate degree required. Advanced degree desired. Industry certifications a plus. A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in training development/delivery, and managing a training function. Strong background in conducting training assessment, development, design, implementation and evaluation. Demonstrated experience in managing vendors and multiple stakeholders. Experience using instructional technologies to increase training accessibility and reduce training expense.
