Our Client, a leading online gaming company, urgently require a Finance Manager for their Head Office in Gibraltar.
The Financial Manager is responsible for the following duties:
Accounting and Reporting of the Bingo and Sportsbook operations and specific Payment processing operations. Review and analysis of Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet statements and constituent accounts.
Managing three members of staff who are responsible for the posting of the accounting entries for these operations and reconciling the constituent accounts.
• Ensuring that the accounts for the three operations are produced on a timely basis.
• Reviewing Balance sheet and Profit and loss accounts to ensure accuracy of information and presentation.
• Management of purchase ledger and supplier payments for operations.
• Point finance person for all Operational issues for these business elements.
• Responsible for budgeting, forecasting and review of actual performance against budget for these operations
• Liaising with external auditors during audit process.
• Management and development of staff members.
Assist the Financial Controller in the Group, Statutory and ad hoc reporting, and represent the Finance department in internal committee groups.
Technical Skills Required:
Accounting qualification or relevant experience
Banking and payment processing knowledge
Good command of Excel
Accounting software experience, preferably Great Plains
Key Competencies:
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Able to develop strong working relationships with internal and external contacts
Numerate with relevant accounting experience
Effective direction and coaching of staff and delegation of responsibilities.
Attention to detail, but able to see the big picture
Ability to plan workload, but pragmatic approach

The effective management and development of staff.
Production of accounts on an accurate and timely basis.
Main Relationships:
Other Accounting staff, reporting to Financial controller.
Payment Processors and Banks contacts
Business unit operational managers
Support and Fraud Departments
Personal Specification:
Qualified accountant or qualified by experience
Staff management experience
Flexible
Analytical, logical reasoning

Numerate
Prior use of accounting software, and Excel
Social skills to work in and manage a team
Able to motivate and develop staff

No restrictions to working in Gibraltar
