Market Connect Group is a premier service organization that partners with both manufacturers and retailers to increase sales at store level. We provide in store services to department stores, mass merchants and stand alone retailers throughout the United States. MCG is currently hiring a District Coordinator in Virginia/DC Area.
District Coordinator (FT)
Duties and responsibilities
•Recruits, interviews and trains for positions within a specific territory, focusing on in store services.
•Travels within territory to train in-store specialists.
•Provides and interprets market intelligence from the field that will help our clients to dominate within their market
•Builds rapport and credibility with field team that inspires proactive response and optimum in store performance.
•Partners with District Managers to identify and anticipate staffing needs.
•Ensures all requirements are met by working directly with field management for follow up through Quality Assurance checks.
•Monitors assigned work and strives to complete all projects at 100%.
Qualifications
•Experience in retail, merchandising, and field recruiting
•College degree or equivalent experience
•40 hrs/ week; 40+ hrs/week during 4th quarter
•Ability to travel (30% travel required, including some overnight stays)
•A self starter, well organized, goal and solution oriented
•Able to adapt to the changing, fast paced retail environment
•Outgoing personality that can quickly build relationships with team
•Extremely proficient in Microsoft office programs, specifically Access, Excel, Word, and Outlook. Must be comfortable learning to work with internal computer systems.
