Construction Specialist Electrical
The Construction Specialist Electrical reports to the Lead Construction Engineer and performs the following functions:
1. Reviews all electrical materials and equipment received onsite to verify adequacy and compliance with specification.
2. Provides verification and interpretation of engineered plans and technical monitoring of contractor’s installations.
3. Coordinates electrical with piping, structural and other groups when conflicts arise or when the sequence of installation of other equipment affects progress.
4. Witnesses and approves all electrical testing and calibration programs.
5. Verifies that installations meet all applicable code requirements and that installations are accomplished in a workmanlike manner.
6. Reviews and monitors subcontractor procedures for storage and handling of electrical materials.
