Quality Control Manager
The Quality Control (QC) Manager reports to the Major Projects Construction Manager and liases with the Project Quality Assurance Manager, the Chief Construction Engineers, and the Lead Construction Engineers. The QC Manager generally has responsibility to develop, implement and monitor procedures and plans to ensure that field quality control supports the requirements of the project and KOC's quality assurance program. Specific responsibilities of the QC Manager include:
1. Assists the Major Projects Construction Manager in the selection and staffing of the QC Section personnel.
2. Develops, implements and monitors the required procedures and reporting systems to ensure that field construction is accomplished to the specified levels of quality.
3. Liaises with the program Quality Assurance staff, project and program management, and KOC management as required.
4. Manages and administrates the assigned quality control personnel.
5. Coordinates with the field construction staff at all levels as necessary to ensure proper control of quality.
6. Prepares and updates reports and provides data as directed for project/program reporting requirements.
7. Overviews contractor submittals related to their QC programs.
8. Supports project closeout and document collections/turnover as specified.
