Job Description
Associate Director - Valuation Advisory
Associate Director, Valuation Advisory, C&W IndiaJob Role & Function° The person will be required to establish and lead a team of real estate valuers within C&W, India. The person will be aided by the current head of India Consultancy Services’ practice in this process. The team may comprise about 10 valuers spread across 4-5 cities in India.
° The Associate Director will be the head of the team and may structure the team as per his/her understanding of business, in consultation with the Consultancy Services Head, and top management at C&W, India.
° S/he will coordinate closely with C&W India leadership/management in terms of running the valuations business and will be responsible for revenue targets. However, the person will be provided sufficient support and can work on a mutually agreeable time-frame for commencement of revenue inflow.
° S/he will work closely with international heads of valuation practice within C&W for following procedures and for coordinating international valuation assignments

° The position would be responsible for the Valuation Business for C&W India.
Qualities needed
RICS Approved Valuer
In addition to strong IT skills, the successful candidate must:
° Should possess an in-depth understanding of real estate valuations for different classes of real estate; good financial analysis skills are a pre-requisite
° Should have excellent presentation, communication and writing skills
° Should have an understanding of listing procedures relevant to real estate valuations at important exchanges such as AIM (of London Stock Exchange), Singapore Exchange, Bombay Stock Exchange, etc
° Should have leadership qualities and must be a good team player
° It is envisaged that the successful candidate shall be a “RICS Approved Valuer” with a minimum of 4-5 years.
° Preferably in Indian Markets or with a knowledge of India. However, this will not be a deterrent
° Preferred prior relevant experience.- Hands on Experience of Real Estates Valuation
