Sous Chef - QLD-Australia-Working Visa offered
AD Innovative Recruitment is searching for an experienced SOUS CHEF.
Job description:
• 5 star well-known hotel with 300 rooms
• This first class hotel, now boasting newly refurbished Guest Rooms, Catering, Exhibition, Meeting and Conference facilities.
• You would be responsible for designing menu's for a la carte restaurant and room service.
• Supervising the daily kitchen operations
• Coaching/training a team of 20 and working closely with the Executive Chef in maintaining the hotel's International high standards.
• 4 weeks paid holiday
• 10 sick days
• Award based pay
Job Requirements:
• Previous experience as a Sous chef in a 4 or 5 star hotel
• Strong culinary skills and food service background.
• Passion for food and the ability to deliver a variety of high quality menu options.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Coaching/training experience with Chefs and Apprentices on and off the job.
• Proven leadership and people management skills.
• Sound knowledge kitchen financial management.
• Manage procedures for ordering, receiving, storing, preparing, and serving food items.
Working visa sponsorship requirements:
• Previous chef experience
• No police record in any countries
• Be of good health
• speak fluent English
2 year visa sponsorship is offered with option to extend!
