You are responsible for the encoding of our user interface into XHTML and CSS, as well as validating the UI concepts for easy development and maintenance. You have a keen understanding of online graphical solutions and a good knowledge and experience with Ajax, flash, xhtml and css development. If possible, you have a good grasp of client side development using JavaScript. You have the ability to teach others how to implement your code.
You will work in close cooperation with the team leader of the module team and the functional architect in charge of feature concepts and interaction models. You report directly to the project manager in charge of product development. Our management method is team and cooperation based, we value the input of any team member and stimulate internal discussion.
Job responsibilities
• Responsible for the encoding of the user interface to XHTML and CSS
• Validating GUI components for easy development and maintenance
• Quality control over the user interface development
• Guiding and teaching engineers in the implementation of your code
• Participating in the solution designs and solution discussions
Your profile
• You are an expert in XHTML and CSS development
• You are an expert in client side development using JavaScript
• You understand server side development (using the .Net framework)
• Proven track record as a client side developer on web based projects
• Long standing experience with web based solutions
• You have a keen understanding of the internet and online solutions
• Chinese candidates: perfect oral and/or writing skills in Mandarin
• European / International candidates: perfect oral and writing skills in either English or Dutch (native speaker preferred), good oral and/or writing skills in Mandarin are a big bonus. Otherwise, willing to learn mandarin within a short period.
