The Hotels & Resort/Hospitality subsidiary of a real estate and construction giant in Dubai is looking for an experienced Purchasing Manager.
The company is in the planning and realizing phase of opening a series of luxury hotels of five- to seven-star rating.
The Purchasing Manager is responsible for the opening of their first stylish and unique property in Dubai.
The position is responsible for coordinating and managing the entire Purchasing Department, main focus on settings, define, development and implement Purchasing plans, Policies & Procedures. Job profile would also include Quotations Management, Market Surveys, Stock Management, Tax and Customs Procedures, Maintaining Suppliers’ Data Bank, Controllers’ Checklist and Personnel Administration. Coordinate the corporate annual operating equipment and supply requirements with the corporate Purchasing Department and the appropriate hotel department heads.
Coordinate purchases related to capital projects with the corporate Purchasing Department as well as outside contractors.
The right candidate has excellent experience in luxury international Chain Hotels, prior experience of having worked in a pre-opening of a Five-star deluxe hotel. Brilliant communication, organizational and administrative skills.
He/She is a motivator with excellent leadership skills who has held similar rolls in the past, enthusiastic, energetic, flexible team player who will enjoy the excitement and challenges of working for a very successful and rapidly growing organization.
Opening Experience is a must; Work Experience in Middle East, Asia and/or Europe is a plus.
