Great opportunity for a heavy duty equipment mechanic to work at in an equipment company that provides equipment services to a variety of companies in British Virgin Island. This mechanic should have several years experience with maintenance & repair of construction, mining, oilfield and/or logging equipment. (Mostly CAT equipment.). Should have a strong diesel engine and hydraulic background, while being fairly updated with the new electronic systems. Your own tools, good attitude, good presentation and customer service skills are also required
Applicant would have to be able to use a laptop to check on inventory, he also has to be someone capable of running the yard where the equipment are based. Our excavators are (Caterpillar 320) and (Hitachi Zaxis 200LC) Grader, Dozer, and roller are also Caterpillar. Our trucks are Mack and Ford, all of our equipment are from 1999 to 2009. all of the equipment can be connected to a laptop to find problems instead of trouble shooting which makes the job a lot easier. At the same time he need to be hands on and work on hydraulic systems, injection valves and systems, repair and adjust diesel power units.

Perform direct repairs to lines of CAT heavy equipment and other products.
Performs quality maintenance, diagnostics, disassemblies, overhaul, troubleshoot, inspections, rebuilds and reassemblies of all components or equipment (i.e.: engines, hydraulics, fuel systems, power generation, electrical codes, etc.) with or without supervision
Must be computer literate (most equipments handled need to be diagnosed over the laptop)
