Our client plays a vital role in infrastructure development programs and has projects of more than $5B.
Job Responsibilities:
1) Plan, manage, and implement all aspects of a specific, large, and complex AFP infrastructure project
2) Manage delivery of a specific AFP project from RFQ/RFP phase through construction to final closeout
3) Handle commissioning and transferring of task to Operations, on time, on budget and in compliance with quality criteria
4) Build and maintain effective relationships with clients and various stakeholder groups
5) Identify client’s needs
6) Inform clients about the project planning and implementation process, and its boundaries
7) Manage client expectations
8) Work with consultants and architects as a representative of the owner
9) Liaise with clients to obtain necessary information/resources
10) Involve clients in the process to develop project design and plans that meet quality standards
11) Lead consulting meetings, document the meetings outcome, and retrieve information in timely and organized manner to ensure proper documentation of the development process and issues
12) Implement and manage (with Project Management Office) the company’s project methodologies and reporting mechanisms
13) Utilize project control tools to manage projects
14) Lead RFQ stage of the project, collaborating with Project Delivery, Project Legal, Project Finance, PMO, and Project Communications Departments
15) Manage (with Project Legal Group) externally procured consulting expertise and resolve disputes on contract interpretation and terms of agreement
16) Ensure the project’s technical compliance, budget, and schedule
17) Manage the project risks
18) Identify, assess, monitor, and track risks and resolve issues
19) Direct consultants on the client as well as company side to document risks properly
20) Prepare various project status reports for senior decision makers
21) Provide comprehensive project management oversight throughout the construction, commissioning, and final completion phases of each project
22) Visit (regularly) construction sites to monitor the project progress, assess quality, and resolve issues
23) Guide design teams and contractors to manage project risk and deal proactively with any exceptions that arise
24) Work with communications to ensure effective, coordinated messaging
25) Ensure proper closure and archiving of program records |
| Habilidades: |
Job Requirements:
1) Degree (4 year) in Engineering, Construction Project Management, Architecture, etc. (preferred)
2) Extensive experience in building medical facilities
3) Experience in managing diverse teams of project consultants and specialists, (client representative preferred)
4) Proven experience in handling a project of $500M
5) Demonstrated experience in managing large, complex construction projects
6) Experience in capital project planning and implementation
7) Experience in dealing with senior executives
8) In-depth experience in building up a medical facility (infrastructure)
9) Superb understanding of contract administration
10) In-depth understanding of and experience in project budgets, technical requirements, change orders, and financials for project planning
11) Ability to find positive solutions to complex problems with a variety of stakeholders
12) Excellent consulting, negotiating, and consensus-building skills
13) Superb computer skills
14) Excellent influencing, communication, and presentation skills
