Job Role:
Identify engineering problems, analyse and propose solutions to resolve these problems in order to improve efficiencies of plant and equipment. Organise preventive maintenance and set priorities for maintenance work assignments.
· Keep updated on latest technology developments in order to suggest cost effective improvements in technology and processes.
· Contribute to the planning and organising of department resources needed to deliver the Department objectives.
· Instruct his sub-ordinates about the use of the following tools: Megger, Multi-meter, Tacho-meter, Clamp Meter, Earthing tester to ensure proper execution of maintenance jobs as per standards.
· Investigate potential and identified problems in order to find cost effective solutions and implement when approved, and monitor results.
· Manage the work flow of the maintenance activities.
· Create work Requests in EAM (Enterprises asset management system).
· Plan and prioritise work activities which need the integration of various engineering disciplines to address more routine situations cost effectively.
· Coordinate with planning and warehouse to ensure timely availability of the right specifications of spare parts and equipment for maintenance activities.
· Analyse failure trends and find the root cause and identify cost effective solutions for less complex problems.
· Responsible for implementing all HSE guidelines and regulations are following environmental conditions within acceptable norms and standard
· Consider potential risks during equipment use within the plant.
· Report & implement accordingly to direct manager, ways to improve existing work methods taking into consideration preventing injury to personnel, damage to plant equipment and fires.
· Promote hazard identification of risk assessment.
· Carry out site surveys to see that only safe work methods are in operation, that health and safety requirements are being observed.
· Determine the cause of any accident or dangerous occurrence and recommend means of preventing recurrence.
· Keep a permanent record of all injuries and damage for area of responsibility.
· Conduct regular Tool Box Talk meetings with subordinates.

Working week – 5 days, shifts – 8 hours.
