My client is currently looking for 2 experienced CDMA /Access Engineers to provide engineering design, performance analysis and optimisation of CDMA/1XRTT/EV-DO wireless telecommunications networks, by designing and developing specific customer network solutions as a key member of an on-site Nortel team for a lead customer in Indonesia.
This individual will also be relied upon to manage customer service situations directly with the end customer which will include management issue lists and action registers.
To be considered for these positions, applicants should have:
• Perfect written and spoken English
• University Degree in Engineering (BSc) or equivalent experience
• Ability to work directly with customers
• 2+ years of experience in the wireless industry
• Indonesian language skills are a plus
• General experience required:
o Nortel CDMA product knowledge - desirable
o Optimising and managing commercial CDMA networks
o Troubleshooting CDMA networks
o RF Engineering Principles
o CDMA technology & IS-95 standards
o Nortel EV-DO networks (Rev O/Rev A) a plus
Specific technology experience/knowledge required:
o CDMA RF optimisation & call performance
o CDMA data and capacity performance optimisation
o CDMA capacity/traffic engineering
o CDMA handoffs
o CDMA RF design
o Multiple-carrier optimization
o Paging success rate optimization
o BSSM Navigation
o BSC Operations & Maintenance
