Position Summary
Highly motivated, highly technical Build/Release/SCM Engineer who is also well-versed in source control policies and software engineering best practices. A successful candidate will provide high quality and timely services to engineering teams in all aspects of software configuration management.
Essential Functions
• Develop and maintain automated build and deploy scripts in Linux and Windows environments
• Manage company's source code repositories
• Develop and maintain scm tools with scripting languages
• Develop and maintain unit test frameworks with Apache Maven
• Monitor and troubleshoot build and deploy failures
• Work with IT Ops team and engineering teams on all aspects of scm activities

| Habilidades: |
• BS or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, or any related field
• Solid working experience with Maven/Ant
• Solid scripting experience (Perl, Python, shell scripts etc.)
• Solid working experience with Subversion/CVS/MS VSS
• Excellent knowledge of software development life cycle
• Excellent knowledge of Linux, Solaris, MS Windows
• Good knowledge of Oracle db and MS SQL
• Good knowledge of unit testing and regression testing
• Good knowledge of JAVA, MS .NET, BEA WebLogic and PeopleSoft CRM
• Good knowledge of software virtualization
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Three plus years working experience as release/build/scm engineer |
