Our client is an international foreign exchange company offering a revolutionary trading platform which allows traders access to the global currency markets. They are seeking a very strong candidate for the role of Compliance Officer who will report directly to the CEO / CFO.
Essential:
You will have at least 5 years of proven experience in a banking/brokerage organization as a Compliance Officer dealing with compliance and licensing issues, Foreign exchange regulatory background in the EU and US along with good overall legal corporate knowledge. A Degree, in Economics, Finance, Law or other related filed and training or exposure to FX regulation and compliance issues.
In depth knowledge of international foreign exchange trading regulations including but not limited to MIFID.
Extensive ability in handling compliance related events conclusively, that may involve regulators, lawyers as well as employees
Outstanding ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
Excellent Business Writing skills (contracts, reports, letters, e-mails, faxes etc)
Very Good analytical skills
Very Good time management skills
Excellent Computer skills – Microsoft Office (Intermediate Level)
