VC Technician
Job location: Zurich, Switzerland
Required technical skills:
• Videoconferencing equipment experience (e.g. Tandberg/Polycom/Sony, etc.).
• Familiar with PC & Mac based systems.
• Basic understanding of computer networking.
• Understanding of videoconferencing over H.323/IP.
Required Hardware Skills:
• Experience with Crestron’s a/v switching interface.
• A/V and computer cabling experience.
Required Software Skills:
• Experience with Mac and Windows operating systems.
Other Required Skills:
• Excellent customer interaction skills and professional demeanor.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent team player.
• Agile and a strong sense of urgency.
Preferred skills:
• Experience with Tandberg’s web interface.
• Experience with Tandberg Management Suite (TMS).
• Understanding of Gatekeepers, Gateways, MCUs (Multipoint Control Unit) & Border controllers.
