Duties/Responsibilities:
•Responsibility for plant layouts including equipment placement, material flow, and work cell design
•Coordination of job ODS development and maintenance
•Development of time studies and maintenance
•Design and improvement of material handling and packaging specifications
•Design and implementation of build/assembly aids (i.E., lift assists, torque gun arms/balances, etc.)
•Actively participate as a member of the Plant’s Safety Committee, supporting all OSHA guidelines.
•Help develop ergonomic evaluations and improvements
•Continuously improve job safety rankings
•Develop and maintain project schedules all other duties as assigned by the Engineering Manager
Education Required & Preferred:
College degree or comparable experience required
Education in Engineering or Business Administration preferred
Experience Required & Preferred:
2-4 years of experience in engineering management required
Experience with systems oriented problem solving required
Excellent organizational skills required
Union environment experience preferred

| Habilidades: |
Product design experience with automotive seating systems, desired
•BSME or BSIE degree
•Minimum of 2 years experience in project management and product engineering in a manufacturing environment
•Familiarity with PFMEA, ODS, and process flow documentation
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
•Strong analytical background
•Flexible to work all shifts
•Proficient in basic Personal Computer skills. Auto CAD is desired.
