This leading Organisation is seeking an experienced Financial Application Consultant.
The Financial Application Consultant provides a stable Oracle financial system and support to users of Oracle Financials, Purchasing and Projects and assists with the delivery of Oracle projects and enhancements.
S/he is responsible for patches and enhancements/upgrades; migrating objects between databases; scheduling batch jobs; managing Oracle Financial security; registering concurrent programs and reports; maintaining custom applications and programs; managing concurrent processing, printers and document sequences.
S/he is involved in decisions to customize the systems (especially identifying potential issues regarding the design, construction, and/or
Upgrades of these customizations).
The successful Candidate will hold:
• A Bachelors Degree in the related field
• Have a minimum of 3 years Oracle Financial administration and support system, preferably in a health care setting.
• Knowledge of w/UNIX, database and network administration.
• Good working knowledge of Oracle applications purge routines, database cleanup and associated reports.
• Working knowledge of Oracle Application systems administration.
• Experience with Oracle Utilizes like SQL*Loader for data imports and conversions.
