We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Corporate Controller who is looking for a challenging work environment. The Corporate Controller is a key leadership position in the Finance Department as well as all of our company. This position is responsible for the integrity of the financial results (consistent with GAAP) and monitoring the internal control environment (ensuring Sarbanes Oxley compliance). In addition to these technical responsibilities, this position is also responsible for employee development and continuous improvement within the Finance Department.
Responsibilities include:
• Managing and reviewing financial reports (all companies and consolidation) that report the business activities (revenue/expenses) and financial position (corporate assets/cash flow).
• Continuously evaluating and improving the overall internal control environment, reviewing operating controls (approvals) and providing guidance to implementing changes; ensuring UTC/Sarbanes Oxley compliance.
• Assist the planning process, ensuring financial reporting and analysis is consistent with the annual plan and interim reporting requirements.
• Member of the ERP (IFS) Core Team, responsible for all financial transactions and finance related modifications. This includes maintaining existing processes and establishing new processes (cross functionally) to enhance the Finance Department’s critical processes.
• Providing leadership/direction for continuous process improvements (LEAN/ACE initiatives), including establishing objectives/goals for the department and prioritizing projects and department resources to achieve these objectives.
• Reviews tax information (financial information/tax accounting) for all corporate legal entities.

| Habilidades: |
Candidates must have a minimum of 7-10 years experience in progressive accounting experience. Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and possess the following skills:
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Demonstrated proficiency in U.S. GAAP
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate complex business issues in a clear/concise manner.
• Strong analytical skills able to clearly link financial results with operational performance.
• Personal responsibility to work independently; strong interpersonal skills to work in a group.
• Public Accounting experience and Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred.
• Adaptability to a fast paced environment and able to quickly understand facts and assumptions and recommend a future course of action.
