Scope :
Supervise and Lead a team of engineers and supervisors in carrying out all installation activities with respect to mechanical equipment assuming entire responsibility for the exercise, within budgeted man-hour and project schedules.
Role :
Study and understand the vendor documents and identify the equipment to be installed.
Generate the method statement and get it approved by the client.
Check on the material to be procured and identify shortages and coordinate with the procurement team to hasten procurement.
Interface with the civil supervisor to check on the status of the foundation and check if the installation process can be initiated.
Assign areas and activities to the Mechanical Engineers as a part of work allocation.
Oversee the installation of the equipment in line with the ITP and client requirements. This includes checking on the foundation, pre alignment activities; generate the rigging plan erection of equipment.
Coordinate with the piping team for the alignment of equipment in line with the piping.
Ensure adequate protection of equipment post installation to protect it from damages.
Interface with the electrical and the instrumentation teams once the installation is complete and ensure that the systems reach the control panel.
Follow up on all pre and post commissioning activities to ensure smooth installation of equipment.
Submit the certification in conjunction with the electrical and the instrumentation teams to the client once the installation is complete.
Maintain all records with respect to QC and coordinate with the department for inspection.
Coordinate with the project procurement team in Sharjah for the procurement of key equipment and to expedite delayed delivery.
Hand over equipment to the commissioning team to take it forward by the generation of various certificates and reports.
Carry out any other duties as and when required by the supervisor.

| Habilidades: |
A degree in Engineering with a minimum of 18 years experience in handling large projects. |
