We are looking consultant for the following position.
Job Title: SAP AP & FI/CO Subject Matter Expert
Location: Stamford, CT
Availability: Immediately
Overview: Individual will be part of the TechCentral Financial Applications team and will work closely with onsite and offshore teams in support of Accounts Payable (AP) and other critical financial processes. In addition, will be responsible for implementing and leading strategic projects and /or enhancements, including integrating acquisitions into the SAP platform.
Responsibilities:
• Will work with onsite and offshore teams to ensure that production issues are fixed as per support SLAs
• Will act as a liaison between business and development teams to communicate priorities for support and projects in the SAP finance arena
• Will gather requirements from business users for enhancements / projects and prepare required functional specifications
• Provide IT project leadership for transformational finance initiatives
• Will engage with other SAP/Non SAP teams such as BI, Middleware, etc.
• Build relationships and interact with external vendors (banks, consulting firms, etc.) as and when required
• Act as a key point of contact for business counterparts, providing insight to technical solutions that may be leveraged to provide first quartile business performance
Qualifications:
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in SAP Accounts Payable module. Experience in the Procurement/FI modules a plus.
• Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems is preferred; advanced degree MS/MBA and technical certification in SAP Technology is a plus.
• Must have a proven track record in requirements gathering, blueprint, and implementing optimal solutions based on business requirements.
• Understanding of SAP AP processes including bank interface communication.
• Strong communication skills that enable the candidate to work independently with business and IT partners throughout the project lifecycle.
• Significant testing experience, including definition and documentation of test results at various phases (unit, system, user acceptance) of the project lifecycle.
• Must be able to relate to all levels of the user community and translate technical language appropriately.
• Must be a team player that motivates and educates other team members.
• Inspires behavioral change of team members and business counterparts as per company's vision
• Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work in a fast moving environment
• Demonstrated agility and ability to quickly adapt to change.
• Must be a self-starter with drive to move to management levels over time.
• Some travel to locations both domestic and international will be required.

• Candidate must either be a citizen, have a valid green card, or current H1B visa.
• Cannot sponsor new H1 to any candidate at this time.
