We are an information technology company based in Canada. We currently have an opening for an International Graphic/Web Designer.
This is a work at home position where the successful candidate will provide their own computer, software and a high-speed internet line (we will reimburse the monthly cost on the internet). The working hours will be 12:00AM – 9:00AM local time.
Company Plan:
• Within 6-8 month establish an office in Philippines. Management has successfully implemented this in India and would like to further their global resources in the Philippines.
• Within the first 6 months a small team of designers, programmers and project managers will be developed.
• Some employees who excel in this role will be offered a “senior position”
Requirements:
This job is approximately 75% web, 25% print
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Graphic Design and Web Design.
At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the similar capacity in a web design house or graphic industry.
Fluent with Adobe Creative Suite (CS) which encompasses Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Macromedia Flash, HTML, Dreamweaver and others relevant design programs is a must.
Familiar with creating and interpreting wireframes (Axure preferred)
Added advantage for those who possess good illustration skills or experience with print production technicalities as well as web design.
Must be proficient in English.
Strong in conceptual, creative and ideally multi-talented in various forms of designs.
Independent, fast, flexible, dynamic and believes in continual growth and learning.
Willing work long hours to meet tight deadlines
Ability to handle criticism
Additional skills (nice to have):
.Net 2.0 – 3.5
Knowledge of Java and Ajax
Experience with DotnetNuke skinning
