Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or any related discipline
Demonstrable, current experience in Java (Jboss/Spring/Hibernate) , Visual Basic v6 or .NET (Strong 3-5 years experience on Visual Basic in an Enterprise Environment; VBA)
Database/SQL skills; Sybase and/or Oracle plus Perl scripting (Experience in support and maintenance of Excel / VBA macros a plus)
Demonstrable, current experience in UNIX application development and familiarity with UNIX operating system, shell etc.
Strong OO design skills
Strong computing background with experience on complete SLDC and
Architecture principles and patterns.
Experience in or exposure to the Financial industry required
2-3 years experience leading or managing a development team
Strong inter-personal and communication skills.
Passion for solving investment business problems through the use of technology.
Bilingual (English and Japanese). Business Japanese is considered a plus; but English is a must
