Global leader in signal transmission products - primarily for the entertainment, residential, industrial and security markets, is seeking a National Sales Engineer. The company manufactures high-speed electronic cables and focuses on products for the specialty electronics and data networking markets, including connectivity.
Based in Lima, Peru-- this position will work virtual office and report directly to the Regional Sales Manager-Latin America. This role requires a passionate and effective individual who will be responsible for business and sales strategies throughout Peru. He/She will drive, develop, and execute the national sales and marketing plan. Our ideal candidate will have experience with structured cable and data networks, technical sales background, solid business development and sales skills. Plus, an appreciation for cutting-edge technology. ** Must have valid passport, US travel visa, and ability to communicate in English.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develops an annual sales plan keyed to customers and driven by the sales and marketing plans that are to be accomplished. Participates in trade and professional associations to keep up to date on new developments.
• Increases the sales volume at select direct to market (DTM) accounts with sale promotions and attendance at trade shows and local shows and by active follow-through on referrals.
• Maintains effective line of communication with Regional Manager at all times and executes daily sales calls activities in accordance with account potential. Plan and report using a CRM system.
• In conjunction with the Regional Manager organizes and executes effective design and engineering calls and problem-solving calls using appropriate company personnel, schedules effective visits to key accounts and makes recommendations to Marketing on new product requirements.
• Provides product training to the distributor at sales meetings and provides for product demand through sales development calls.
