The Hutong School organizes internships in combination with Chinese classes for students, graduates and young professionals who want to gain working and living experience in China. We will organize an internship at a local or international company in Beijing, provide accommodation and teach you Chinese.
Our services include:
- Internship placement
- Accommodation in single rooms in modern apartments in central Beijing.
- 2 hours of Chinese classes per day
- Airport pick-up.
- Assistance with the visa application and the registration in Beijing.
- Regular panels with Beijing's business elite, diplomats and journalists, who want to share their experience in China.

For our client we are currently looking for an intern for the following position:
Software Developer and Technical Support Engineer
Starting date:Sep 2008
Length: 6 months
Location: Beijing
Internship description:
Software development and technical support for mobile network performance monitoring equipment and reporting suite for mobile operators.
You will be involved in our R&D department for technical support that will involve customer support, a bit of software development and some research in the very hot Deep Packet Inspection technology. You will work in an international team and you will deal remotely with customers from different countries.
Requirements:
Abilities, Knowledge, Skills: Software development: C, C++, PHP, Delphi, Linux.
Mobile telecom (GSM, WCDMA, GPRS) and IP networking knowledge. CCNA, CCNP, CCIE certifications are a plus.
Good motivation to learn Chinese and communicate with the Chinese staff.
