Position Summary:
SPSS Inc. Currently seek a Tax Manager in our Chicago office. This individual will manage the tax compliance process of federal, state, and local domestic income tax returns, and will prepare and file estimated tax payments, as well as other duties.
Position Responsibilities:
Manage the tax compliance process of Federal, State and Local domestic income tax returns. Monitor and oversee timely preparation of foreign tax returns.
Work with external tax advisors and interface with federal, state and local tax authorities. Prepare and file estimated tax payments.
Assist the Tax Director in managing the process of Federal international tax compliance, including management of earning and profits calculations, foreign tax credits and previously taxed income.
Work with corporate accounting to provide supporting tax data for their completion of the quarterly and annual tax provision calculations.
Assist the Tax Director in managing Federal, State and Local income tax audits.
Assist the Tax Director in monitoring transfer pricing compliance and documentation, restructuring of corporate entities, managing tax aspects of inter company transactions, and development of improvements to the operation of the tax function.

| Habilidades: |
10 years of tax experience in public accounting and/or publicly traded private industry environment with domestic and international tax exposure. Experience with SFAS 109, FIN 48, SEC reporting is preferred.
Possess excellent time management, verbal and written communication and human relation skills.
Well organized with ability to perform multiple tasks and work with other functional areas of the organization.
