Several hospitals and healthcare systems have retained MedPlan to identify primary care physicians – AL, FL, GA, MS, TN. Below is a brief summary of just four of our potential positions:
Solo practice – physician candidate would be stepping into a well established traditional practice where the physician is retiring. First year income guarantee, including set up assistance.
Join established traditional practice – you would be joining a physician who is well respected in the community. Opening satellite office in rural area. First year income guarantee, relocation package.
Urgent care clinic – outpatient setting, total of five physician owned clinics. No call, no beepers, Hospitalist covers service calls. Need two fulltime physicians to help staff physician owned clinics. Two options –
o salaried position – regular scheduled 10 hour shifts / 18 days per month. Includes benefits, malpractice, healthcare, etc.
o contract basis - average $110.00 per hour but amount is based on volume of patients seen; for greater volumes, a production formula is used.
Hospitalist – Salary based on production, offering commitment bonus and relocation package. Patient census averages 35 patients with 10 new admissions per day.
