Job Description
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Sales and Business Development Executive that has a track record of rapidly building business, in the Communications, Media & Entertainment (CME) Segment, within one of the best known technology companies in the world.
The individual in this role will work closely with HP CME client and services directors in the APJ region and is a critical resource in growing their business and meeting their goal of becoming a long-term strategic business value provider to their customers.
The role will require close cooperation with the account teams in both an advisory and leadership capacity, making business recommendations on solutions, demonstrating thought leadership and leading engagements from opportunity creation, to pre-sales through to proposal and ultimately closure on large complex projects.
Responsibilities:
• Drive business in the CME segment through the development of new business opportunities and the support of regional and in-country sales efforts
• Lead/support the solutions sales process, from prospecting, qualifying, and closing the business for key accounts
• Gain confidence of the customer and be viewed as the trusted advisor
• Monitor and provide inputs on customer needs/trends and strategic directions to influence, refine and develop required solutions portfolio by working with Global Business Units and CME Worldwide and APJ teams
• Support key account sales executives in developing strategic account plans and driving execution
• Manage partner ecosystem Sales Delivery and Enablement
• Generate proposals for key deals and facilitate workshops

Job Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree with 10 years account management experience in CME segment
• Strong CME background - knows the ecosystem of partners, key players, trends
• Entrepreneurial- mindset around building business
• Creative- finds opportunities & solutions easily
• Relationship oriented, both internally & externally
• Driven around performance objectives
• Demonstrated project planning & deployment skills
• Consulting experience a strong plus- requires a consultative, intelligent approach
• Sales and business development experience
• Marketing experience a plus
• Great interpersonal skills- communications, relationships, conflict resolution
• Track record of success in a matrix environment
• Fluency in English
• Ability to speak Japanese (and preferably Korean as well)
Notes:
1. Candidate must be able to speak Japanese & English.
2. Individual must have by way of priority; i) Telecommunication Industry expertise, ii) Media Industry expertise.
