GreyStar Corporation, an oil and gas production and maintenance management services company, is seeking a degreed Mechanical Engineer of some 2-5 yrs experience in oil & gas facilities and maintenance, to be responsible for technical proposal development and completion. This position will build into a long term career, and include field assignments when appropriate.
This position will report directly to the Executive Staff, and must able to think one step ahead of the executive staff in terms of what is needed.
Responsibilities:
• Develops proposal concepts and strategies with the Executive Staff
• Writes the bulk of the technical proposal, independently or as directed by the Executive Staff
• Manages the proposal process from Kick-off to submission
• Proofs, edits, rewrites proposal sections submitted by others, streamlining said sections in to the whole, and ensures that graphics are accurate and appropriate
• maintains coherence of proposal materials and compliance with RFP requirements
• Other duties and projects as assigned

| Habilidades: |
Absolute Requirements:
• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering (Civil, Electrical and Petroleum engineers will also be considered based on experience)
• Must have no more than 2-5 experience, and must have experience in the Oil & Gas industry
• Must be articulate and well spoken in the English language
• Must able to write accurately and eloquently on any topic, as well as able to edit and re-write others’ writing
• Must be an expert user of MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Excel, at a miminum
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively and clearly
• Must be able to function calmly and professionally under multiple competing deadlines
• Must live in Houston, TX, or within daily commuting distance
Preferences:
• Proven track record of competent use and knowledge of desktop publishing and/or graphics software is a major plus
• Proposal writing experience in the international consulting world is a huge plus
