The Early Intervention Program continues to grow. The Core Team is composed of the following disciplines: Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Language Pathologists, and Developmental Special Instructionist.
The Arizona Early Intervention Program provides support to families of children birth to three years of age with disabilities or special developmental needs, helping them to build on their child\`s strengths, and to enhance and promote the child\`s growth, development and learning skills in their natural environment.
Reports To: Director of Early Intervention Services
Location: Services are provided in the East Valley (Mesa, Gilbert, Chandler, Tempe and East Phoenix)
SALARY: Competitive salary starting at $55 per hr
Relevant Information: This is an independent contract position with option to become an employee and qualify for benefits.
Essential Job Functions:
•therapists will work as part of a comprehensive multidisciplinary team in order to provide screenings, assessments, planning, and on going services in collaborations with the child\`s family and other community representatives.
•Therapists will participate in a one-on-one sessions.
•Supports and services are conducted in a natural environment (typically home, daycare, park, etc.), in context of the family\`s typical routines and activities so that information is meaningful and directly relevant to supporting the child.
•Flexible schedule, willing to work evenings or weekends, as needed for service provision to families.
Continuing Education:
•if contracted or employed as licensed, registered, or certified professional (PT, OT, SLP) the practitioner shall complete the continuing educations units required to maintain professional credentialing. Services are supported under contract with AzEIP participating agency.

| Habilidades: |
Minimum Qualifications:
•a Bachelor\`s Degree in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy or Speech Therapy.
•Must hold or be eligible to obtain Arizona state licensure.
•Hold all necessary credentials for each respective field.
•Pediatric experience a plus
•In-Home experience
•Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
•Candidates must pass background clearance
•Travel to attend meetings/training, and to provide services in a natural setting. |
