About the Project
Fluor Australia was awarded the contract to provide services and resources to executive routine maintenance activities, shutdowns, turnarounds and projects at the Shell Refinery in Geelong.
In a spirit of cooperation and openness, Fluor and Shell have formed an alliance for the delivery of innovative maintenance and engineering services to Shell Geelong.
The alliance will work towards improving Shell's competitive position in the Australasian refining market with a clear focus on improving labour productivity, asset management systems and site shut downs. To achieve a result different from the current situation will require a new approach to maintenance execution, including a change management process to move Shell Geelong's refining business to best-in-class in Australia.
