This position is a very exciting opportunity to join Microsoft’s Entertainment & Devices Division in the European Operations Centre, and play a vital role in making Commercial Full Packaged Product (CFPP) successful. You will have end to end responsibility for key launch products in Europe in this highly visible and important role. Success in the role is a great stepping stone to further career opportunities. Microsoft is seeking to recruit a Supply Chain Forecasting Manager to join its European Operations Centre based in South Dublin. You will have a minimum of degree level qualification in a related field. You may come from a Retail or FMCG background (finished goods planning). You may also come from a completely different industry as long as you have global supply chain planning experience with multi-nationals.
Responsibilities
This role will have high-level visibility within the global structure, with the successful candidate being expected to move into a more senior role within 12 to 18 months. This is an exciting opportunity for a results driven, action oriented person to manage the end-to-end Supply Chain for a globally recognised product from Launch to End of Life. The Supply Chain Forecasting Manager will be a key link between Sales, Marketing, Product Groups, Global Supply Chain Planning, Vendors and Finance both within the Europe & Worldwide regions.
The Position:
• Develop a deep understanding of the overall CFPP business model, including sales and channel analysis to determine trends and identify opportunities for further developing the forecasting models.
• Continuously improve the performance of the business by meeting or exceeding all goals and objectives related to business metrics, initiatives, and reporting. Ensure that deliverables and schedules are met across functions and individuals.
• Drive operational readiness across Europe for New Product Launches and ensure effective communication of information across the supply chain to ensure synchronization of deliverables, schedules, and owners.
• Implement a Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process that maintains a valid, current operating plan in support of customer requirements and the business plan.
• Develop and communicate demand forecasts requirements for a specific product.
• Drive worldwide best practices with cross-regional peers pertaining to launches, promotional activity, forecasting and inventory management.
• Co-ordinate activities across the supply chain on promotional activity requested by the subsidiaries.
• Strong communication and direction with turnkey vendors in terms of forecasts and demand planning activities.

| Habilidades: |
• 5 - 8 years forecasting and planning experience, ideally coming from either an FMCG, Retail Telecoms or Electronics background. However, anyone who has worked in a global multinational supply chain will be considered.
• Strong working knowledge of supply chain management concepts and analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mathematics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, and/or other related degree required.
• APICS certification a plus but not required.
• Strong analysis, problem solving, judgment, and decision making skills. Ability to deal with ambiguity taking many factors into account, determining strategy, and maintaining efforts to meet the strategy.
• Familiarity with supply chain systems and models including: Collaborative Planning Forecasting and Replenishment models, ERP Enterprise Resource Planning systems, SAP, and APO.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills in a cross functional team environment.
• Excellent skills in business process design and reengineering
