The school is located in the picturesque village town of Hockley with very good transport links being a 5 minute walk from the train station. The college boasts National Recognition as a Technology College, Leading Edge School and Training College and is also able to offer a wide range of resources including an ICT Development Centre, Multi-Media teaching classes and a newly built 6th form centre.
It is highly regarded for its successful and innovative development work, in disseminating best practice to other schools and provides a very good education for its students largely drawn from the local community. Standards at GCSE are above national average reflecting very good achievement by students.
The school is seeking a suitably qualified teacher who has proven experience teaching Maths at a KS3 and KS4 level and has a natural ability to motivate students. The successful candidate will be teaching in a very supportive environment and established department.
The successful applicant will have the option to start on the 1st September.
