Our Client requires the service of a Construction Manager to be based on sites around South Africa as required form time to time, with the home base being the company"s head office in Johannesburg. The company offers a unique combination of engineering disciplines and expertise, enabling us to deliver world class solutions to our customers across the broad spectrum of building and industrial civils.
J o b D e s c r i b t i o n
· Establish, motivate and maintain a competent, productive complement of site personnel according to the approved site organisation plan.
· Establish a viable method of construction for all aspects of the work.
· Establish the sites overall programme and ensure that the detailed programmes of subordinates are adhered to.
· Procure materials, labour and plant and arrange any sub-contractors as required timeously to achieve the programme.
· Implement, monitor and control The Quality Assurance Plan.
· Implement, monitor and react to The Cost Control Procedures.
· Assist the site QS in his function.
· Maintain competent records.
· Draft reports
· Identify unsafe practices and conditions
· Be responsible for receiving and communicating all contractual documentation at site level and actioning them.

*** At least 5 years relevant building industry experience
*** A degree/diploma in Construction Management/Building Science
*** Computer literacy |
