Area of Accountability:
Prepare and issue drawings, specifications and parts lists to support production programmes and new product development plans for Turkish customers.
Major Responsibilities:
1.Project management of allocated engineering projects.
2.To closely work and communicate with the engineering team based in the UK.
3.Create and maintain part, assembly, and general arrangement drawings using Solidworks Computer Aided Design (CAD).
4.Carry out Finite Element Analysis (FEA) studies on structures for stiffness, strength and life.
5.Liaise technically with customers and suppliers in Turkey to facilitate the timely completion of engineering projects.
6.Carry out feasibility studies, installation checks, reviews and calculations for each design (own and other Engineers)
7.Define part numbers and assembly structures for input into Bills of Materials (BoM’s)
8.Select, evaluate, and apply proprietary components for assemblies and systems
9.Create and complete Product Change Requests (PCR’s) and Engineering Change Notes (ECN’s)
10.Assist in initiating and maintaining relationships with external suppliers
Additional Information:
·Based at our engineering centre in the UK, but flexibility is requisite due to extensive travelling to Turkey to visit and work with customers and suppliers
·Working within the Turkey project engineering team and reporting directly to the Lead Engineer for Turkey.

| Habilidades: |
Qualifications:
·BEng Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
·5 years minimum postgraduate experience preferably within the automotive (truck/trailer) industry.
·Excellent verbal and written technical English language skills.
·Excellent verbal and written Turkish language skills.
·A good knowledge of castings, machining, GT&D, fabrications and welding.
·Competent in general design/draughting and CAD work.
·Experience in a 3D solid modelling CAD package and in FEA is requisite.
·Ability to carry out fundamental engineering calculations.
·Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
·Ability to work within a project management environment.
·Automotive market knowledge required.
