o Overall management of accounting records and financial reports as well as ensuring all appropriate
controls are in place
o Preparation of all financial reports including income statements, balance sheets, reports, tax returns,
Develop high quality management information and performance measurement tolls in a timely and
accurate manner. Implement use of balance score cards.
o Prepare and review management information, consolidate results and make recommendations for value
added initiatives, support development initiatives and other commercial decisions. Benchmark results.
Identify opportunities.
o Analyzing hotels operations to pinpoint opportunities and areas that need to be re-organized
o Budget preparations and forecasting
o Maintaining track of all current projects, from a financial perspective, ensuring timely and on cost
completion
o Review Purchase orders ensuring financial accuracy, sound commercial and business judgment are
applied to the process. Ensure the authorizations are obtained prior to commitments
o Ensure a regular cycle of business reviews and forecasting takes place
o Organizing cash flows. Minimize the level of working capital, with particular emphasis on the
management of debtors, receivables and stocks. Maximize interest earnings and minimize interest
expense. Maintain accurate cash flow forecasts for at least one year ahead and ensure adequate notice
is given to AGH of ant future cash requirements
o Ensure full reconciliation of bank accounts on a monthly basis. The highest levels of control must be
maintained over all cash and bank balances at all times
o Understand and measure cost drivers.
o Ensuring the company operates with complete integrity and follows the highest possible corporate
governance practices. Ensure compliance with company policies, legal and tax compliance
o Throughout knowledge of business law and contracting. Monitoring of current contracts with
constructors, consultants and operators
o Maintain a focused system of internal control over hotel assets, liabilities revenues and costs
o Ensure proper permits and licenses and insurance policies are in place.
o Take responsibility for safekeeping and updating of all contracts
o Liaise and cooperate with both internal and external audits. Ensure that an effective program is in
place. Make use of monthly control checklist for each property.
o Ensure the implementation of financial systems in the hotels. Full support to the Oracle roll out. Ensure
proper systems security and back up procedures are in place.

| Habilidades: |
O ACA, ACCA, CPA or CA or international equivalent
O Fluent in English. Arabic a plus
O The candidate must have a track record on progressively challenging and with increasing responsibility
Financial positions.
O Ability to analyze and interpret financial data
O Ability to exercise judgment in evaluating situations and making sound decisions
O Ability to analyze large volume of complex financial information from many sources and create reports,
Forecast projections
O At least 5 years previous experience as Hotel Financial Controller
O Hospitality experience required
O Excellent knowledge of MSOffice and Excel.
O Knowledge of uniform system of accounts, business law, labor regulations, insurance claims and liability
O Firm, open management style. Diplomatic but tough when required
O Excellent communications and negotiation skills
O Able to work on own initiative and make decisions. Develops a positive working relationships at all levels
