# Architect and develop the Java-based components of our Java-based clients, including J2ME handsets and RIM BlackBerry devices. This will involve extensive work on native phone integration, networking, data modeling, and GUI, which must be done in a platform-independent manner.
# Contribute to system-level architectural discussions, provide feedback on requirements, design, and test documents.
# Create strategies for moving our client's software to the latest mobile handsets.
# Work closely with platform engineers to support the individual platform development initiatives, diagnose platform-specific issues, and deal with platform differences and unique requirements.
# Work with server and QA engineers to debug system problems |
| Habilidades: |
# 3+ years of engineering experience in Java-based product development
# BSEE, BSCS, or equivalent
# Strong experience in embedded systems/constrained devices development
# Proven ability in delivering complex development projects on time
# Strong TCP/IP networking skills, HTTP, XML, binary & text-based protocol design
# Strong object-oriented design skills
# Experience with databases, data modeling, manipulation
# Experience with J2ME and/or RIM-based development.
# MIDP 2.0 experience and experience with J2ME JSRs highly desired |
