Position Overview
Responsibilities
• Market and sell insurance and financial services products to families in your community.
• Develop a client base through marketing programs developed by the company, district office, and yourself.
• Build and protect your clients’ assets through the use of insurance and investment products.
• Utilize the proven business model to gain control of your financial future and to build a successful insurance and financial services agency.

Partnering with Farmers Insurance
• All Farmers Agents are independent business owners that have built business partnerships with Farmers Insurance.
• Farmers partners with individuals who meet our strict requirements and possess the drive and determination necessary to be successful.
• Our training program, the Reserve Agent Program, is an extensive, interactive system geared toward educating you on both the products and the business.
• Through the Reserve Agent Program, Farmers is proficient at training and retaining agents because we offer the chance to discover if this career path is right for you without initially giving up your current employment.
• The Reserve Agent Program can be completed successfully on a flex-time basis for appointment into the full-time Career Agent Program.
• During the Career Agent Program, training continues for the first two years. In addition to your sales commissions, Farmers will assist you financially on a monthly basis as long as you meet minimum performance standards.
• Throughout your career with Farmers Insurance, your District Manager will serve as a guide to help you grow a successful business.

• Year 1 → $54K
• Year 2 → $98K
• Year 5 → $150K
• Year 10→ $330K
